AEC Coding Club is an intrinsic part of Assam Engineering College (AEC), the first engineering college in the north-eastern India located in the Jalukbari area of Guwahati city.

AEC Coding Club is a locus for all techie who are inquisitive and assiduos about tackling real life problem with the aid of programming. Since it's inception in 2016,it has been tenacious in fulfilling the needs of the students by conducting numerous events such as Hactoberfest(AEC Edition), Ideathon, Study Jam, Webinars on Github, python and many more providing a place to enhance cognitive and analytical skills. The club focusses on Coding, Algorithmic Programming, Competitive programming, Web Designing, App Development, and various other aspects of Programming.

AEC Coding Club strives to inculcate and foster the culture of programming and to create a healthy programming environment in the campus It aims to create an environment which proliferate quantity and quality of programmers irrespective of their respective engineering discipline.

Orientation Session 2021

A Club Orientation session for the new incoming batch of 2021-25. Through this orientation session, the new incomimg batch will be introduced with the various activities of the coding club.

Interview Prep Series

The Complete Interview Preparation Series is designed in such a way that you won’t need to go anywhere else for the interview preparation process – the course fulfills every single requirement of yours.

Placement Series

The entire series will be conducted in various segments and is divided into multiple episodes, covering all the necessary details regarding placement and related stuff in product-based companies.

Study Jam

Study Jam is a new initiative by AEC Coding Club which aims to improve the CP environment of AEC by conducting competitive programming competitions on weekly basis on every Sunday.

Programming is a cardinal element in computer science stream. The digital world is driven by Computer programs. The heart of the programs are the codes. The computer people are very enthusiastic about programming. This aura also attracts people from other streams to jam the RAM. For this reason some of the students from the department of computer science and engineering of Assam Engineering College (AEC) had come up with the idea of a club- called Coding Club of AEC. From time to time this club has been organising various events. The most notable one is the Annual coding competition during Pyrokinesis. Taking this opportunity, I applaud the efforts of club committee members and also the other members for nurturing the club to sustain. As a Professor in-charge, I wish the coding club of AEC may attain an envious height of success soon.
